Ostia Lido: between Rome and Ostia Antica

Ostia, also known as Lido di Ostia or Lido di Roma, is one of the largest districts of the City of Rome. Just five minutes by train separate the Romeforguest apartments in Ostia from the ruins of the Roman settlement of ancient Ostia, dating back to the 4th century BC, famously larger than Pompeii. Also not to be missed is its charming medieval village (9th to 15th century AD), known as Gregoriopoli.

The Romeforguest apartments are in the centre of Ostia, just a 10-minute walk from the beach, 30 minutes by train from the Colosseum, 30 minutes by bus from Fiumicino airport and a 5-minute walk from the famous Pineta, a green area of several square kilometres where you can enjoy plenty of outdoor activities.

The Romeforguest apartments are in Via delle Baleari and are well connected.

Bus

Very close by, in Via delle Baleniere, you can catch the 04 bus towards Lido Centro station and towards Acilia, and the Cotral bus to and from the airport.

Train

An 800 m walk away is the Lido Nord stop on the Roma-Lido railway, which takes you to central Rome (Colosseum) in just 30 minutes.
